What we’re doing to help prevent covid-19 transmission at Skeeter’s
Here at Skeeters, we’re doing our part in actively following the safety measures detailed by the government. We always aim to deliver a great axe-throwing experience. This not only means a fun experience. But a safe one too!
We have installed new safety measures throughout the range, including: magnetic axe holsters, hand-gel on every lane, provide face masks and have added a hand-washing station in the reception area.
Our guests are strongly encouraged to pre-book as well as filling out personal details prior to arrival which not only gives people more time throwing axes but also reduces crowding on site.
We are accepting walk-in sessions. All walk-in players must fill out their contact information and sign a waiver in adherence with NHS test and trace.
All of our instructors will wear face masks and have received covid-19 training. We want them to be fully prepared to effectively reduce the risk for the public and themselves. Any staff with covid-19 symptoms are asked to let us know and stay at home.
What does this mean for me, can I throw axes?
There are three simple actions we can all do to keep on protecting each other:
We have installed 2 toilets near the entrance to the venue. They are sprayed clean after every use & deep cleaned after every session.
We are doing our best to keep queueing to a minimum. All bookings that have pre-booked, registered and signed waivers will simply need to show some identification and will be taken directly to their lane which will be screened off during throwing sessions. Walk-in guests may have to queue – we ask that only 1 group enter the reception area at a time, whilst others may have to socially distance in a queue for a short time.
We are not currently allowing guests that wish to spectate but not throw, to accompany their group unless they are accompanying a minor. All bookings inclusive of axe throwers and spectators must conform to current government guidance regarding to single households or support bubbles.
Our sessions can safely accommodate groups of up to 10 from any number of households will be permitted as per the step 3 roadmap regulations relating to outdoor sports .
If you are unable to attend your session due to covid-19 symptoms, please don’t come in. Stay home, stay alert, stay vigilant, stay frosty. Please let us know prior to the session that you need to reschedule. You can do this by email at bookings@skeeters.ax or call us on 0203 9099 111.
